Project XGuard Mission
To use the art of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu to effect positive change in our communities, while providing invaluable life skills to the children, youth and instructors.
Mission
To offer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes sponsorship to international tournaments in exchange for providing training to at-risk children and youth.
Vision
To use the art of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu to effect positive change in our communities, while providing invaluable life skills to the children, youth and instructors.
Purpose
The intent of Project X Guard is to provide training in the sport/martial art of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (“BJJ”) to under-privileged, at risk youth (those under 18 years of age) (“At Risk Youth”), who may not have the means to afford tuitions at BJJ academies. BJJ has proven to assist At Risk Youth in building self-confidence, assisting with positive self-esteem and better life choices, providing cardiovascular exercise and assisting with anti-bullying techniques.
